Bauhaus architecture at
SEEhotel Friedrichshafen

Our hotel received an award from the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects for exemplary building: the hotel as a small city within the city with paths, squares and staircases, in which the urban architectural spaces are reflected. This was the idea that architect Joachim Reinheimer based his building on.
The surprising light changes of the Lake Constance weather, as a catalyst for the architectural concept, can be felt and experienced in all areas. A boring corridor layout was avoided. Glimpses into the hall invite guests to linger on the bridges that connect the two buildings, leading to personal encounters and preventing unpleasant anonymity despite the considerable size of the building.
The hotel bar "Sonderbar", designed as a day and evening bar, is directly adjacent to the spacious reception area.
Opposite the lobby, designed as an open space, are the three variable event rooms.
There are 132 rooms on the five floors. The fifth floor houses the wellness area with sauna and steam bath as well as direct access to our roof terrace.
