Waterfront promenade

One of the most beautiful lakeside promenades on Lake Constance is located in Friedrichshafen. It offers a magnificent view of the lake and the Alps behind it. The marina is right on our doorstep, and just a few minutes' walk away is the harbor for the "White Fleet" passenger ships, which depart from there for all the major towns on Lake Constance. But it's best to see for yourself...

Zeppelin Museum

The Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen provides a fascinating insight into the giant airships that still fly over Lake Constance today. Visitors can discover the history of the impressive airships in a multimedia presentation. The Zeppelin Museum houses the world's largest collection of airships. For example, the walk-through passenger compartments of the Hindenburg (LZ 129), which burned down in Lakehurst in 1937, can be experienced in a true-to-scale replica.

In the ARCHAEORAMA multimedia show, visitors can experience the pile dwellings from all possible perspectives.

Castle church

One of the sights in Friedrichshafen is undoubtedly the castle church. It was built between 1695 and 1701 in the Baroque period and restored after being partially destroyed in the Second World War.
